Order sent to the sancakbey of Hersek and kadı of Nova regarding the Ottoman subject who oppress the Venetian subjects living in the vicinity of the fortress of Nova. In spite of the losses the Venetians suffered from the Northern African corsairs, the Ottoman subject continue to harass them. They claim ownership of some gardens and lands that were purchased by the Venetians in the past and their dues have been paid. As this is against the ahdname, the Ottoman officials are ordered to inquire this, stop the harassment of the Venetians in their areas and return the lands of Venetians.
